"The Box" is a movie, that came out in 2009, starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden. It takes place in the 70's and is basically about this box. The box contains a button and when you push that button, two things will happen:
1. A person, that you don't know, will die.
2. You will receive 1000000 dollars in cash.
Now what do you do?
I think the plot has so much potential, that it is rather sad to watch the movie evolve. All the sudden it is not about morality anymore but about some supernatural person, that likes to play around with people.
I rate this movie with 50/100, because the story could be really good, but unfortunately it is not.
Now, ask yourself: What would you do if somebody made that offer to you? Could you kill a person, even if you don't know that person? One million dollars is a lot of money, but is it worth the life of a human being?

Limitless
What would your life be like, if you could use every information that your brain has ever received? What would it be like if you could connect the dots, just like that? Limitless is a movie, that is about this situation. And it's pretty awesome too!
The Trailer pretty much says it all. The movie is about Edward Morra, that finds out about this weird drug, that let's him use 100% of his brain instead of only 20%. His whole life suddenly turns upside down and he becomes really successful. There is a lot of action going on and a lot of suspense.
I rate this movie a 96/100 and you simply have to see it! It inspires you to make the best out of your life, and that's what a good movie is supposed to do!

Rome
"All roads lead to Rome" Yeah, yeah, pretty saying, but what was is it really like in the ancient city? I went there for a week and had a pretty good look at the buildings, the people, the art and all that good stuff. Here is my opinion:
When I first looked down from the plane onto the airport of Rome, my first thought was: "Geez! They need to water this gras!" I soon came to realize that 'watering the gras' doesn't do the job at all, because it is really hot in Rome! When you walk through the city you are constantly looking for shades to hide your skin from the sun, but other than that I really enjoyed the weather.
Next up: the roman architecture! When you think about Rome you instantly think of the great empire, which was once situated there; with it's beautiful buildings made out of marble, the fine statures of the roman heros and and and. As I said before... That empire is long gone! As a matter of fact I don't think I have seen one building that wasn't patched up like a torn pair of pants! I don't know about you, but I don't consider that beautiful... Same thing goes for the statures. Sure, all that stuff is really old and all... I get it... But I don't like it.
Churches... Rome is dominated by Christianity and they won't let the slightest chance go, to show how present they are. On one day we went from church to church and I couldn't believe my eyes, how mighty these churches were! As you might guess, I didn't like that either =)
Now what did I like about Rome? Well first of all, pretty much all alcohol is purchasable at the age of 16 - same goes for tobacco. And then the inhabitants... They were probably the best (especially the female part of the population). And last but not least the FOOD! LOVED IT!

There should be a Captain in there somewhere...
Greates role of Johnny Depp? Weeell, it's rather hard not to say "Jack Sparrow", when that question comes up. And I have to admit: he is pretty good as a Captain, but how are the movies he is performing in?
Pirates of the Caribbean (Curse of the Black Pearl) rocked the world! Everybody fell in love and Hollywood smelled the money, so a part 2&3 followed - unfortunately they were only "meh". Now the 4th part was released and how was that?
I watched it in the movies and that already gave the whole thing something special. The music of Pirates of the Caribbean (by Hans Zimmer) is truly amazing, but almost everybody abuses it for their documentary or something. It felt really good to hear the music in the place where it belongs again and i loved the movie.
I mean, I grew up with Pirates and seeing a new movie just dazzled me. I cannot judge it objectively, because there are to many emotions of mine attached to the characters, but I can say, that I rate it a 9/10!
